John Welbourn is the creator/operator of CrossFit Football. He is a professional football player and a CrossFit Level 2 certified coach. John was drafted with the 97th pick in 1999 NFL Draft. He went on to be a starter for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999-2003, appearing in 3 NFC Championship games, and for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2004-2007. In 2008, he played with the New England Patriots until an injury ended his season early. Over the course of his career, John has started over 100 games and has 10 play-off appearances. He was a four year lettermen while playing football at the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric in 1998. John also is owner of CrossFit Balboa/ SoCalSC, assists with the Starting Strength Barbell Certifications, and lectures on nutrition.

Kelly Starrett is owner of San Francisco CrossFit in San Francisco, CA. Kelly is a CrossFit Level 3 coach and Olympic strength coach having coached 2008 Olympic Gold medalist, Erin Cafaro, in the Bejing Games. After a very successful high school football career Kelly attended the University of Colorado to play football. Kelly received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, California. His is in his third year of serving as strength and conditioning coach for the Marin Rowing Association high school rowing program where he helped lead the varsity girls to a national title in 2008. Kelly's background as an athlete and coach includes paddling whitewater slalom canoe on the US Canoe and Kayak Teams, and leading the Men's Whitewater Rafting Team to two national titles and competition in two World Championships.

Raphael Ruiz was raised in Texas where he played football and ran track in H.S. and college at Sam Houston State Univ. It was there where he began his career with the initial development of the concepts and forward thinking principles for a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to training; this program was titled Fitnecessity SP. That was the precursor to All Sports Elite (ASE) and then eventually its current moniker One Four Four One (1441) Training Systems. Raphael relocated to Tampa in 1998 and began work as a sports performance specialist at Harbor Island Athletic Club. It was during this time that he branched out and worked with the S&C staffs of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays Minor League Program as well as the Director of Sports Performance at the Clearwater Tennis Academy. Shortly thereafter, Raphael became the Director of S&C for the University of Tampa, which he has served since 1998. During that time, he also was as the Director of Sports Performance for the MLS Tampa Bay Mutiny. In January 2005, the Sports Performance Clinic that Raphael developed was added as a division of the Musculoskeletal Institute [Established by Florida Orthopedic Institute]. Currently, All Sports Elite is the Corporate Health & Wellness branch of a training system under the flag of One Four Four One, LLC.
