3. 8'15", after third round dropped the weight to 115 lbs for thrusters, used a 45lb bumper for slams as usual. Happy with my time regardless, now time for a run.

4. Speed endurance training:
1 x 300m
2 x 200m
3 x 100m
Then
DWOD (@95lbs RTs & a 40lbs DB that was slippery from all my sweat)
14'30"
Not good at all. Guess I can afford one bad day

5. Why are all the fun WOD's on Saturday when I'm too beat up to do them.

6. DWOD
- Rx'd unbroken 11:23.

@KyleMcD - "Fun" is about the last word I'd use for this one. Gets worse every time.

7. Did the DWOD in 11 minutes. Could only Squat thrust 65lbs safely, but I have to say the bear crawls almost killed me, i was gasping at the end of the 5th round. Sick workout.

8. @KyleMcD - I see what you mean, minus the "fun" part...lol...the looks I got performing this at my globo was priceless

9. WTF that wod had me gasping after the first round. It was harder than I thought it would be - feeling shitty.
RX'd with 55lbs plate slam, I didn't have any stands available today so I started each round with a PC+PP. 19 minutes.

11. dwod 9 on 7
10:57 with a 60lb sandbag boost/thruster

felt slow as hell in the bear crawls, almost became crawling on my hands and knees!

12. Reverse Hypers 3x20 (first time doing these...so nice)

DWOD:
- Subbed 15 GHD Sit-Ups each round instead of the slams (haven't done them in a while/didn't have a ball)
- Just had to break up the 4th round of thrusters into 5-4 (found that they were easiest if I relaxed my grip on the bar until I was over 3/4 done the squat, saved the arms for locking it out)
- 10:27

13. 15:10 subed out 135 for 115 midway
subed bear crawl for 12 burpees
Plate slam 45
Not bad for the third workout

14. "9 on 7 Drill"

Complete 5 rounds for time:

9 Rack Thrusters 115 lbs
20 yard Bear Crawl
7 Ball Slams @ 20 lbs

12:15

My goal on Saturday workouts is always under 15 minutes and survive. Holy legs that feel like Jell-O though. First time doing Rack Thrusters so 115 felt better, could have done 135 but prob would have been closer to 16 minutes and not as intense.

15. 135# rack thrusters and did 10 slams as i only had 30# slam ball. Took a while but great stuff. Then did 3rm pullup because i forgot the swod yesterday. Only got 45# but strict form.

First time doing rack thrusters and probably my favorite new exercise. Feels much smoother than regular thrusters, goes up easier.

19. Is everyone doing double the reps if you only have access to a 20 pound ball and can't slam plates?
Comment by JamesC — November 4, 2012 at 5:55am
20. 8:16, used a 45 plate for slams
Comment by CPTPucetas — November 4, 2012 at 6:31am
21. OS DWOD

Did regular thrusters instead of rack thrusters for fear of the unknown. From comments on here it seems like that was a mistake.

9 Thrusters @ 75#
20 yrd bear crawl
7 50# kb slams
